Elvis in Charcoal #260 metal print by Rob De Vries. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Drawing in my Elvis in Charcoal series. I'm trying to make a drawing once a week.
About Rob De Vries
Rob de Vries (1963) studied at the Amsterdamse Grafische School, where he graduated in 1984. He worked as DTP-operator and designer for various companies. In 2002 he started his own one-man design company. Years of practice in the graphic world had rekindled the desire to start drawing and painting again. A period of intensive study followed. Advanced drawing techniques and a education in realistic painting and 17th century painting techniques from the painter Cas Waterman. He is drawing and painting commissioned portraits for 5 years now. In between the commissions he is working on his own paintings. His work is in Dutch, American, Danish and Norwegian Private Collections.
